Big Ideas Generators


Coming to a library near you soon

Funded by the Arts Council, Big Ideas Generators will support innovation and enterprise across 10 Greater Manchester library authorities. One team will be working across the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, a first for the city region, offering one-to-one business information surgeries, “How to” sessions, workshops and informal networking opportunities, as well as specialist training in skills such as 3D printing. The project will be delivered from June 2017 to March 2018.

Introduction to Selling Online

A FREE beginners guide to selling online ideal for private sellers and new business sellers.

The session will include helpful hints and tips to get the best price for your items and beat the competition, and the most common mistakes to avoid.

The main focus will be on Ebay which has 163 million registered users – other platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, and Gumtree are also covered.

The talk will be followed by a question and answer session and the opportunity to network with local businesses and start ups.

This workshop is delivered on behalf of the Big Ideas Generators project by Maggie Harding of Garbo Antiques.

Maggie is a qualified Ebay Trainer approved by Ebay to deliver training. She has presented sessions for Ebay, Manchester City Council, Bolton Business Ventures, Blue Orchid Training, and Bolton Enterprise Centre. As a full time Ebay Seller, Maggie has over 14 years experience of trading on Ebay. Maggie is rated by Ebay as a Top Rated Power Seller.
