Listen to tales of the coming spring, play some games and plant a pot of spring onions to take home, grow and eat.

Fish Feeds

Tuesday 20 and Thursday 22 February, 1pm

Find out more about our freshwater fish collection with our aquarium experts. Suitable for all ages.

Cinema at the Crescent Holiday special - Big Hero 6

Wednesday 21 February, 2pm

Watch this action comedy adventure film! Under 12 year olds must be accompanied by an adult. Light refreshments for sale.

Watch computer-animated superhero comedy ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ - as voted for by High Street Library customers. Please collect your free ticket in advance from High Street Library.

Chinese New Year activity session

As it’s the Year of the Dog join us and listen to the story ‘Odd Dog Out’. Then create your own dog mascot from air drying clay.

Xbox challenge

Monday 19 February, 9am to 7pm all day drop in, High Street Library

Try your hand at a selection of Xbox games - from sports and adventure to dance - on our big screen TV.

Competition time

Tuesday 20 February, 12.30pm to 5.30pm, High Street Library

Enter a range of competitions from story and poem writing to word searches and other puzzles. There will be small prizes up for grab!

Chinese New Year craft

Calling all princes and princesses gather round for a storytelling session with Snow White. You can then make a crown, follow the prince and princess’ trail and play stick the horn on the unicorn. You're sure to have a magical time.

Crafty Crew - Chinese New Year of The Dog

Saturday 24 February, 10am to 12pm, Bromley Cross Library

A cute puppy dog craft to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The dog’s moveable body will create the illusion that the dog can walk.

Bromley Cross Crafty Crew's monthly Saturday sessions are for children who love getting messy and creative with glitter, glue, paints and more. Every month there will be a new project to try and parents can join in too!

Book Bingo

Listen to a story and then it’s time for bingo with a twist! Can you be the first to mark off all the authors and books on your game card. Lots of chances to win a prize.
