An audience with Gill Sims - 'Why Mummy Drinks' - Bolton Central Library and Museum

Join us at Bolton Central Library for an evening of fun and laughter with blogger turned author Gill Sims. Gill is the face behind the Peter and Jane Facebook Page and has recently turned her hand to writing. In her own words - it is: "The most exciting thing to ever happen in her life…" and this is an opportunity to meet the face behind the hilarious posts which are followed by nearly half a million people on Facebook. Her new book 'Why Mummy Drinks' is about her life with her husband, ‘precious moppets’ and ‘Judgy Dog’. In the true spirit of the book we aim to hold a bar (with Gin and Wine) for sale (it is Friday after all!). The doors and bar will open at 6pm with the event at 7pm. This will be followed by a book signing session and the bar will be open until the end of the book signing session. Tickets are £5 (plus Eventbrite booking fee) - this will entitle you to £5 off a copy of the book on the night. This is a great opportunity to bring a few friends and enjoy some light hearted conversation about books and being a mum whilst hopefully enjoying a gin or wine from the bar supplied by Bunbury’s of Bolton.
