National Storytelling Week events - Bolton Central Library and Museum

Saturday 27 Jan 1.30pm to 3pm: Storyteller Sally-Anne Tapia Bowes joins us at our Saturday Club to perform stories from around the world and there’ll be craft activities too.

Monday 29 Jan, 4pm to 5pm:  Listen to seasonal tales and then create your own using story cubes. Plus you can make a winter scene to take home.

Tuesday 30 Jan, 10.30am: You’re never too young to listen to a story so come along to Arty Babies and enjoy a tale or two!

Thursday 1 Feb, 6.30pm: Storyteller Ursula Holden Gill will be performing ‘On this Island’ - an intricate weaving together of folk tales and dancing along with her own contemporary stories. Suitable for 11+. Please book your free ticket via Eventbrite:

Fri 2 Feb, 11am: Toddler Tales get ready to   celebrate what you do best! There’ll be lots of terrific tales and songs.

Sat 3 Feb, 1.30pm to 3pm: Come along to Saturday Club where you can create stories using story cubes, draw a giant comic strip and make a craft to take home.
