Spring Live Literature - Bolton Central Library and Museum

Join us for the first in the 2018 Spring Live Literature series! The University of Bolton and Bolton Central Library working in partnership proudly present: Ben Wilkinson, Lecturer of Creative Writing at the University of Bolton, winner of numerous poetry prizes including a Northern Writers' Award, the Poetry Business Competition and an Arts Council England writer's grant. He has also written reviews and publications for the Guardian and TLS. Ben will be reading from his new book of poems, ‘Way More than Luck’. We also welcome Suzannah Evans from Sheffield, who will be reading. Her pamphlet ‘Confusion Species’ was a winner in the 2012 Poetry Business book and pamphlet competition, judged by Carol Ann Duffy. Suzannah has had poems published in ‘The Rialto’, ‘The North Magma’ and ‘Poetry Review’ and her poem ‘Helpline’ has been ‘Poem of the Week’ on the Guardian website. She is currently working on a collection of apocalyptic poems. All Live Literature events are free and no need to book.
