    Lunchtime talk - Prehistoric Life - Bolton Museum

    At our museum lunchtime talk gain an insight into the prehistoric world of Bolton from the plant fossils in Carboniferous swamps over 300 million years ago to Ice Age creatures about 20 thousand years ago. Discover more about the prehistoric skeletons we have at Bolton including the: • Fearsome Tyrannosaurus Rex • Spiky Tuojiangosaurus • Bird-like Archaeopteryx There will also be an opportunity to gets hands on with prehistoric fossils and casts of dinosaur bones.
