Britain's master forger Shaun Greenhalgh is coming to Bolton Central Library and Museum to talk about his upcoming BBC Four series ‘Handmade in Bolton’ and his book ‘A Forger’s Tale’. He created four historical objects for the TV programme using traditional methods and materials. All four items - a jewelled brooch, an alabaster panel, a ceramic plate, and a rock crystal bottle - will be on display in Bolton Museum’s foyer from October 7 to coincide with the broadcast of the show. Join us on Friday 11 October at 7pm to find out more about Shaun’s notorious career and the extraordinary circumstances that led to it. Signed copies of Shaun’s new book will be available to buy at the event. Tickets cost £5 and are available on Eventbrite: https://shaungreenhalgh.eventbrite.co.uk All proceeds will go to the Bolton Mayor’s charities.
